Root: Landscape Calculator (“the App”) is designed as an offline calculation and project tool for landscaping, garden construction, and related measurement tasks. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles data and what information, if any, is collected when you use the App.
Offline Use
Root: Landscape Calculator is designed to work locally on your device. The App does not require an account, cloud synchronization, or a server connection to store or process your calculations, projects, notes, or other user-created content.
Data Collection
- No personal data is collected by us through the App.
- The App does not collect names, email addresses, account information, contact details, location data, health data, contacts, browsing history, or advertising identifiers.
- Calculations, project names, project descriptions, optional addresses, notes, saved results, favorites, history, and settings are stored locally on your device only.
- If you add photos, videos, or other media to a project, those files are accessed and stored locally on your device only. They are not uploaded or analyzed by us.
Purpose of Local Data Use
- Performing landscape, garden, construction, and measurement-related calculations
- Saving projects, calculations, notes, favorites, and history on your device
- Displaying previously saved calculations and project information
- Exporting or sharing data only when you explicitly choose to do so
Local Storage
All user-created data is stored locally on your device. This may include calculations, project information, notes, descriptions, addresses entered by you, media files, favorites, history, and app preferences.
You can remove locally stored data by deleting it inside the App where such options are available, by clearing the App’s data through your device settings, or by uninstalling the App.
Device Backups
Depending on your device settings, locally stored App data may be included in system-level device backups, such as iCloud Backup or Google device backup. These backups are controlled by your device operating system and account settings, not by us.
Permissions
Root: Landscape Calculator may request access to certain device features only when needed for a specific function, such as adding media to a project or exporting a file. Permissions are used only for the function you choose and are not used to collect data for tracking, advertising, or analytics.
Exports and Sharing
If you export, save, or share project data, calculations, PDFs, images, or other files from the App, the data is shared only with the destination you select, such as your files app, email app, messaging app, or another service available on your device. We do not receive a copy of exported or shared data.
In-App Purchases or Subscriptions
Root: Landscape Calculator may offer paid features, a one-time purchase, or a subscription. Payments are processed exclusively by the relevant app store provider, such as Apple via the App Store or Google via Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details, billing address, or other payment information.
Purchase and subscription management, including cancellation and renewal, is handled through your app store account settings.
Third-Party Services
Root: Landscape Calculator does not use analytics services, advertising networks, tracking SDKs, cloud databases, or third-party services to collect user-created calculation or project data.
